Post-Mortem Report

Hello all,

What went right?
I got alot of experience from the project. I got a very general idea for what is needed to run a project. I learned alot from what I did find out about the process.


What went wrong?
I didn't have enough time to devote to the project. I should have created one project and fully concentrated on every aspect to get it correct. Three projects spread my attention and I could get as in-dept as I could.


What would I do differently?
I should have interview a local game company and researched their methods of creating a title. I have a lot of assumptions, but no concrete facts of what exactly the process requires. If I had a more detail format from a game company I think I could have done a better job.

Today is the final day of class. My Presentation went well.I really learned alot from this class and I will continue the projects after class ends for polished portfolio pieces.

I am now working on the Marketing and PR Document. I am still researching the prices for the game engine for the budget. I have been working with one of my instructors, Chris Castaldi. He is very knowledgeable and has been very helpful.

I missed blogging last week due to work and falling behind in my capstone class. We had project review in class today. I still have to work on my numbers for the budget and expenses. I'm currently finishing up on the schedule and starting on the budget for the survival horror project.
